I read a few reviews of these straps and even though I thought they seemed expensive for what they are, I decided to give them a go. I have to say, they were worth every penny. Incredibly secure and tighten up well on the bike. I used them to hold a pair of dry bags on the back of the bike and found I could put them on and forget about them. I had no worries about them working loose or breaking at all. The design offers peace of mind with only one half being elasticated, reducing the risk if a buckle should give way. I'm a convert from conventional bungees.
